VAC brings quality crime prevention programs to the community. We have accomplished this by having seminars, workshops and drug awareness programs. We also operate a summer enrichment program that deals with assisting at-risk children with their education and society's issues; while giving lessons in anger management, reading, math, Bible study, and writing. We strive to make a difference in the community and in the life of each individual we touch.

In 1992 VAC established the Jason LaMont Scholarship. Since 2009 we have given away fourteen scholarships to the love ones of homicide victims to pursue higher education.

VAC's Homicide Support Group was named in honor of their longtime, faithful, facilitator Dr. Rev. T. David Parham on his retirement from the group in 2004.
